Choosing a UV DTF printer

UV DTF prints a sticker with no backing left behind. The printer lays white, colour and a varnish layer onto A film, cures it with LED UV light and laminates it to B film. Peel the backing, press the print on by hand, and it stays on glass, metal, plastic, wood and coated paper, including curved surfaces like tumblers.

Look for print and lamination in one machine, so what leaves the printer is ready to sell. Three heads (white, colour, varnish) is the usual layout; the varnish is what gives the raised, glossy finish buyers pay for.

UV DTF is a hard-goods process. For garments, a DTF printer is the right tool.
